Upgrading GCF

Following is the basic process for upgrading all releases of GCF. For specific requirements for each release, see the BlueCielo Meridian Global Collaboration Framework Release Notes.

To upgrade GCF to a new release:

  1. In Meridian Enterprise Configurator, register the new GCF extension (.cab) files.
  2. In Meridian Enterprise Configurator, on the GCF Configuration page, click Create required tables.
  3. Locate and replace the existing import and export processor files with the new files.
  4. Merge the environment script as described in Importing the VBScript code.
  5. Merge the registry settings as described in Merging registry settings.
